Im Geschäftsbereich Neuropharmacology betreuen wir seit Jahren sehr erfolgreich präklinische Studien mit Schwerpunkt Neurodegeneration. Wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in im Labor Vollzeit (40 Stunden)

Sie arbeiten in einem jungen, dynamischen Team, welches an der Durchführung und Entwicklung neuer Therapieansätze auf dem Gebiet der neurodegenerativen Krankheiten forscht.

 

Ihr Hauptaufgabenbereich:

  • Präparation, Kultivierung und Behandlung von primären Zellen, Zelllinien, organotypischen Slices und iPSCs
  • Durchführung zellbasierender und biochemischer Assays
  • Immunozytometrie
  • Probenvorbereitung
  • Mitarbeit in der Entwicklung und Verbesserung von Protokollen
  • Allgemeine Labortätigkeiten

Ihr Profil:

  • Genaue Arbeitsweise und detaillierter Dokumentationsstil
  • Qualitätsbewusstsein
  • Bereitschaft Verantwortung zu übernehmen
  • Fähigkeit mehrere Projekte parallel zu planen und/oder auszuführen
  • Gute Englisch- und idealerweise auch gute Deutschkenntnisse
  • Fähigkeit sowohl im Team, als auch unabhängig zu arbeiten
  • Erfahrung in den angeführten Arbeitstechniken

Optionale Anforderungen:

  • Erfahrung im Wissenstransfer bzw. Ausbilden von Mitarbeitern
  • Technisches Verständnis für Laborgeräte sowie Computer Soft-und Hardware
  • Erfahrung in der Bearbeitung und Färbung von histologischen Schnitten

Essential Functions:

  • Supports generation of Cost Tables and Work Orders
  • Manages and distributes incoming requests via homepage
  • Assists in organization and coordination of daily work of the BD team.
  • Helps email communication with clients and internally
  • Maintains lists and databases
  • Helps preparation for meetings and conferences
    In addition to these tasks, other tasks (undisclosed) can be executed

Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Versed in written and spoken English, additional languages favorable
  • Team player willing to support BD team and Neuropharmacology Management
  • Helps to organize the sales process from lead generation through close

Education:

PhD student (30 hour/week)

PhD student (30 hour/week)

For the project: “Validation of three different ASD mouse models for efficacy analyses of newly developed serotonin multi-target drugs.” The project will be performed in cooperation with the University of Graz and the University of Bari, Italy.


Your Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Treatment of mice using different routes;
  • Behavioral tests for repetitive behavior, social deficits, activity and anxiety
  • Plan, perform, analyze and report animal experiments as well as histological and biochemical tests of brain tissues
  • 3-month stay abroad at cooperating laboratory in Italy to perform HPLC analyses
  • Preparation of scientific posters and publications
  • Visit of scientific conferences
  • Presentation of data at in-house meetings and at the University of Graz

Your profile:

  • Master’s degree in biological sciences or equivalent
  • Strong background in animal treatment and animal behavioral tests
  • Experience in histological analyses and protein biochemistry preferred
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office, Graph Pad Prism, Reference Manager or EndNote
  • Able to work independently
  • Good team player
  • Self-motivated


What we offer:

  • For that 30 hour/week position we offer € 2.162,40 gross per month. The position is limited to 3 years. Start of the project is October 1st, 2019

Clinical Trial/Project Associate (f/m)



Your area of responsibility:

A Clinical Project Associate is a professional, who supports and works closely with the project team and suppliers through all stages of a clinical study. Duties may include coordination, participation in study meetings, study and site binder creation, managing project financials, creating, maintaining and QC of essential documents, creation and submission of documents to authorities and set-up and maintaining of (e)Trial Master Files. Depending on the educational background the Clinical Project Associate will also support the medical writing team. The Clinical Project Associate resumes a “linking position” between various members of the study team and fulfills an essential support function for the project management.

 

Your preferred profile:

  • Experience in clinical research or related fields
  • Medical or natural scientific background
  • ICH/GCP (Good Clinical Practice) knowledge
  • Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Very good communication skills
  • High level of written and spoken German and English
  • Fluency in another European language will be highly appreciated

Clinical Research Associate / Clinical Monitor (f/m)



Your area of responsibility:

A Clinical Research Associate is a professional, who monitors the administration and progress of a clinical trial (pharmaceuticals, biologics or devices) or non-interventional study and checks the data integrity on behalf of a sponsor. The work of a CRA includes the evaluation of study centers, the preparation of the submission from authorities and Ethic Committees (IECs), the initiation of a trial, continuous monitoring during the active study period, collecting essential documents until the end of a trial and performs close-out visits in the end of the trial. A CRA overtakes a “linking position” between Project Manager (PM), Principal Investigator (PI) and Sponsor as he/she is the contact point for all parties involved. The function as CRA requires a lot of empathy on the one hand and the ability of authority on the other hand.

 

Your preferred profile:

  • One or more years experience as CRA
  • Pharmaceutical, Medical or other natural scientific background
  • ICH/GCP (Good Clinical Practice) knowledge
  • Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Very good communication skills
  • High level of written and spoken German and English
  • Fluency in another European language will be highly appreciated
  • Accuracy, quick understanding, independent way of working, team player
  • Resistant to pressure
  • Willingness to travel
